Full stepsīack Up Your Files Before You Repair Corrupted User Profile Open the Settings app by pressing Windows + I keys at the same time. Click 'Scan' to start finding the corrupt files. Select a disk location where the corrupt files are saved. Press Windows + X keys at the same time to bring up the Command Prompt option. Open the Windows 10 Registry Editor by typing regedit in the Search box. Activate the hidden admin account in the Command Prompt by entering the command.
